Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI)

Our district is proud to be participating in the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), an initiative designed to enhance access to behavioral health services for our students. This effort supports our ongoing commitment to student well-being by strengthening coordination between schools, families and our community partners.

What is CYBHI?

The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) is a state initiative that focuses on improving access to mental health and wellness supports for students. It connects schools, families, and community partners to better support children’s social and emotional well-being.

Why is our district participating?

We know that students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and connected. Participating in CYBHI helps us strengthen the mental health resources already available to our students and reduces barriers for families seeking support through additional funding sources.

How will this support our students?

Through CYBHI, students can benefit from:

  • Increased access to mental health services

  • Early support for social-emotional needs

  • Better coordination between school, families and community partners

This work helps to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive, both in and out of the classroom.
