Drug & Alcohol Prevention

The Alta Loma School District is committed to providing safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments where every student can thrive. We believe that prevention, education, and early intervention are essential to helping students make healthy choices and avoid the risks associated with alcohol, tobacco, vaping, and other drug use.

Through age-appropriate instruction, schoolwide prevention efforts, and partnerships with families and community organizations, the District promotes awareness of the physical, emotional, social, and academic impacts of substance use. Students are provided with opportunities to develop decision-making skills, build resilience, strengthen positive peer relationships, and learn healthy strategies for managing stress and challenges.

Our schools work collaboratively with counselors, mental health professionals, administrators, and community agencies to identify and support students who may be at risk. When concerns arise, families are connected with appropriate school-based interventions and community resources to ensure students receive the support they need.

Alta Loma School District is dedicated to fostering a culture of wellness, responsibility, and respect by empowering students with the knowledge and skills to make informed, healthy decisions that support lifelong success.
