Last week students attended Ned's Mindset Mission assembly. They learned how to never give up, always do their best and encourage others. It was fabulous!

Book Fair is coming next week!
Mrs. Mann and Mrs. McNinch’s fifth graders built bridges today to understand how a thesis statement (car) needs to have strong support to successfully convince the reader. A student said that the bridge we made is connected to our essay writing because it is how we connect ourselves to the person we are trying to convince.
We also discussed what skills it takes to be successful in activities like these as an individual and a group.
