This morning, our Dual Language Immersion (DLI) kindergarten students at Jasper Elementary School brought culture to life with an incredible Folklórico song and dance performance! 💃🎶 From the vibrant traditional attire to the rich rhythms and joyful movement, our young performers truly amazed everyone in attendance. It was a beautiful celebration of language, culture, and student talent that filled the room with energy and pride.

What an incredible evening at Stork Elementary for the inaugural Battle of the Books competition! 📚🏆 Our students’ impressive knowledge and love of reading were on full display as they confidently answered questions about the books they worked so hard to master. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated site enrichment coordinators who guided and supported our participants every step of the way, and to School Board Members Vice-President Hurley and Clerk Davies for joining us in celebrating this special event. We are also deeply grateful to our amazing Educational Services Team for creating this opportunity and providing support in all aspects. Proud of our Assistant Superintendent Cara Cerecerez for agreeing to be this year's keynote speaker at the Extended Learning Symposium, held March 20th. This event hosted approximately 600 participants, and Cara showcased ALSD's journey to a premiere extended learning program: EXPLORE and HANG TIME. ❤️❤️❤️
