Today was all about helping our students start the school year on the right foot! 👟💙 Thanks to an incredible partnership with the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary Club, Shoes That Fit, and the generosity of our amazing community, more than 100 pairs of brand-new shoes were distributed to students during today’s Happy Feet event. Together, Rotarians, Alta Loma School District Board Members, and District staff had the privilege of helping students step into the new school year with confidence, comfort, and a smile. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and made this event possible. The Alta Loma School District officially kicked off the new school year with our annual Convocation, bringing together our incredible ALSD family to celebrate, connect, and look ahead to an exciting year! School Board members and Superintendent Smith welcomed staff back by reflecting on the many successes and accomplishments of the past year, recognizing the unwavering commitment our employees bring to our students every single day. Superintendent Smith also challenged and inspired us to embrace the theme of being "Future Ready" as we continue preparing every student for success. One of the most meaningful moments of the morning was recognizing staff for their years of dedicated service to the students and families of Alta Loma. Their passion, commitment, and lasting impact are truly inspiring. Thank you for everything you do! A special thank you to SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union for providing an amazing breakfast to help start the school year off right for our ALSD family. Here's to an incredible year ahead! 💙📚🍎 #ALSD #FutureReady #BackToSchool #ALSDProud
